Sandeep Dhundhara is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the SMART-SIP+ research project at the College of Engineering, Birmingham City University, Birmingham, UK. He previously served as an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at COAE&T, CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, India. He is Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He had been a visiting research fellow at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engg., University of Nottingham, Nottingham, UK (2017-2018). He has a total of 10+ years of teaching and research experience in electrical engineering. He has edited 3 books and published 40+ papers in various international journals/conferences. He is a member of IEEE, UACEE, and INAEG. His research interests include microgrid operation & control, artificial intelligence (AI) applications for power system control and stability, automatic generation control, and electrical energy storage systems.
