Dr Khondokar Mizanur Rahman is a researcher in Environmental Engineering. He has been involved in the field of agriculture and environment research since 2004. Dr Rahman’s PhD and Post doctoral research focus on Transformation of Energy from Waste and Sustainable Agriculture. In his post-doctoral tenure worked with 3 large EU projects funded by the European Union INTERREG IVB programme: ALG AD, EnAlgae and BioenNW. Dr Rahman is a Co-PI of SIOL project on “Production of Oil from Waste-Sludge through Hydrothermal Liquefaction” funded by Bangladesh Energy and Power Research Council (BEPRC). As a researcher from Agriculture and Energy sustainability Dr Rahman’s role in SIP project focus on LCA of energy system and stakeholders’ engagement and assessment in Bangladesh (WP1, 2, 4, 5). He is the member of Bangladesh Biogas Development Foundation, Bangladesh Agriculturist Institute and the Chartered Institute of Waste Management. Dr Rahman attended TV interview at Channel I and ATN Bangla, the pioneer TV channel in Bangladesh.
